Descreption: We are planning a fund raising event by the name “Play For Cause - Flood Relief T20 Cricket Tournament”, with the support of masses of Karachi, to generate funds to help the flood victims in various parts of Sindh, Pakistan. Play For Cause - Flood Relief T20 Cricket Tournament ... 1- INTRODUCTION The “Play For Cause - Cricket Tournament 2011” is a brand new limited over tournament for flood victims relief introduced by Dmax Entertainment in view of its popularity and success in other countries to create greater excitement for the spectators and competitiveness among participating universities and players. To further popularize the tournament, and also cater to the higher spectator participation at matches, Dmax Entertainment is undertaking several activities that would contribute towards the objectives of raising the standards of domestic cricket to international levels whilst increasing spectator following of players, teams and tournaments. The Play For Cause - Flood Relief T20 Cricket Tournament would see the participation of current and future national Cricketers in colored clothing representing their respective sides. 2. MEDIA COVERAGE Dmax Entertainment has invited the International TV Broadcasters to cover the tournament from the quarterfinals with play being described by a popular and competent International commentary team. These matches would also be seen live on TV by cricket fans around the world and also the public of Pakistan who are passionate about cricket. Dmax Entertainment would also be making arrangements to cater to the foreign and local media who are expected to cover the series from each venue, which would ensure wide coverage of this tournament in both local and International media. 3. INVITATION FOR SPONSORSHIP Scope of Sponsorship and various benefits being offered are outlined in the following sections. Those interested in submitting their offers for sponsorship are requested to follow the general guidelines given herein 4. TOURNAMENT/ ITINERARY The tournament would see the Participation of the Best 16 Teams of 1 Division in the country. The matches would be of 20 overs per side with two matches being played in one day at each venue. The Finals will be played under lights at the National stadium. The Tournament Structure which would be on a knockout basis is as follows. 5. SCOPE OF SPONSORSHIP The scope of this Invitation for Sponsorship and the benefits offered are listed in Section 6.Offers may be submitted covering the whole tournament. Subject to fulfillment of basic requirements, Dmax Entertainment shall reserve the right to accept offers in consultation with the interested sponsor. 6.
